A few bug fixes, in this one, the most important is a fix for texture compression that meant some smaller levels of detail show up as colored noise in game on distant objects. Also the stadiums and some other stock models show up properly in D2 now, there was a problem with loading multi textured stock models that has been fixed.

Thanks Laurie!

I have been playin around with custom models on a spline path lately, Is it possible to allow higher speeds then 120 MPH? which I'm guesing it's MPH in Dillo Too, I wanted something around 250-300 MPH hehe.

Also what about the stock splines for the planes and chopper etc, are they possible to make and import like the original with being able to bank a plane etc for a turn?

Anyway, awesome work as usual! this program has come such a long way since the first release ;)

It is possible to allow greater speeds than 120mph, i'll put it on the todo list. It is MPH since that's what MCM2 uses.

I have been thinking for a while how i can easily add custom splines to the stock objects in a way that is easy to use. I did think about having controls to fly/drive the objects to create a custom spline but it is a lot of work. It might be easier to have people create splines in Max and import them and overwrite the original spline path, but that requires a high level of Max knowledge by the user, which would then restrict it to being used by only a handful of people.

It has come a long way, it's now pretty usable, if i could only find the time to work out the last TRN file details i could import DispMaps and call it ver. 1.00 :)

dnt no if this is alrady on dillo too and i aint figured it out but how about an array tool, would speed up placin bales by loads

mcm2boys

What's an array tool?

Do you use the bail/banner placing assist buttons?

an array tool is from max, you have an object, then u select another point, then u specify the amount of models u want in the space between the two points, saves loadsa times, kinda hard to explain but u kinda get the idea, i use placin assist buttons ye like place to terrain n stuff like tha ye?

Cool ;), crank it up to 999 MPH max and I think that should cover everyones needs hehe.

The only spline path I've ever done in Max was for my MCM1 track Twisted Motocross and that was about 6 years ago now, I dont remember how to even do it now lol.

I'm sure there are tutorials out there for Max to make splines like the stock MCM2 ones for the planes and chopper etc.

Quick question ... is there anyway to fix the object shadows for the MXU trees ? I seem to get extra shadow towards the trunk of the tree. Also is it possible to say we have a part of a object under ground, and have the shadow only show up whats above the ground rather than the whole object ? Thanks again for this update !
