"MXGP PRO - Feel like a PRO Motocross rider on June 29

With the fourth installment of the acclaimed series MXGP, we really are making a step up: on June 29, MXGP will bring all the fun and adrenaline that made the series great, along with the new PRO Physics that will challenge even the most skilled player.

Get ready to enjoy more freedom and realism when throwing those scrubs, when riding those deep ruts and when landing after a high jump.
Create your rider and climb the ranks in Career mode. Jump in the Compound area: a bigger, wider training area with different terrain conditions. Test your skills facing 30 different challenges: a dedicated game mode to learn step by step the best motocross techniques in the most realistic way.

And this is just a glimpse to all the great features we included in the game! Take a look at our website for more details and ask us any questions on our social channels.

See you on track!"

If they really have improved the physics since MES then this could be great.

Hmmm... I bought the first MXGP & played 24 hours.  Ran the career (makes you start in MX2) then went to MX1 and ran 2-3 tracks, but didn't feel like repeating any of the tracks.  It's a different outdoor style vs the US & none of the tracks really grabbed my attention.

I am pretty bummed that US moto games separated SX & outdoors into different games, but actually, as far as official US outdoor tracks, not many of them really "grab" me either... I've always loved Redbud & Glen Helen but most of the rest just skip my mind & I can't even remember the names.

Outdoor user made tracks are usually much better & there have been some ALL TIME GREAT ONES to remember!

Ah-ha!  I only watched the gameplay vid & it was just a tracks and weather effects.

The Compound Trailer got me interested for a second RE: FREE ROAM, but it is only ONE compound vs GIANT multiple environments & multiple free roam areas with radically different terrain we've seen in other / past games.  Oh well...

I haven't played any of the MXGP games. But yes, the GP tracks are a lot different than the US tracks.  I also wish they would combine SX and US motocross in one game, but I'm sure there are licensing issues stopping that from happening because everyone seems to want "official" bikes/parts/gear in the game and that has to get expensive.  I'm sure they would have to pay every track owner some kind of fee to put their official track into the game. I also agree that user created motocross tracks are much more interesting than replica motocross tracks.  They are also what keeps these games alive. I'm still amazed how many people that play MES only want to run the stock tracks. I personally enjoy them but I have more fun running the user created tracks.

I'm still really hoping that the LCQ Studios game is good when it comes out.  So far it looks pretty promising.

I'm sad to see that it appears that this new game will still have moon like gravity.  I don't get it, why is the gravity such a hard thing to get right?  I have not seen one MX game where the bike drops from the air to the ground realistically and it really ruins these games.  With all the other physics aspects that they deal with I would think this would be the easiest part to get right.

Notice my comment that this game only has one "freeride / compound"?

Well, shoot... Monster Energy Supercross is SELLING their first DLC "compound" for $5 and the Monster Energy CUP track (one track) for $6.  F-that.

There will probably be more 10 more "compounds" for the top 10 riders @ $5 each & IDGAF about these games anymore!

Yep. It is a pure money grab. DLC for cash has ruined a lot of games. Did you look and see how much Nordic wants for each brand name bike for MX vs ATV All Out?   They want $2.99 for EACH bike!  LOL

They started selling DLC before the game was even running properly...

A good thing is that all the files are already on your pc so if you know a bit about modding you can easily exchange a stock bike with a DLC one :)

That's good to know, but I don't care that much about official bikes and gear.  It's all about game play for me.
