predict who will win this one now that we got 1 established!

um how do u do a pole?

i guess just say who u think!

i am gonna have to say bubba still!

MCMnut

Well, according to a poll over at RacerX.com, about 58% of the people think Ricky followed by 21% for Bubba and 12% for Reed.  Personally I have no idea!!  :D  All I want is a good race...and I think we're going to get one this weekend (and the whole series if everyone stays healthy).  Better fire up those TiVo recorders! (or VCRs for us less privileged folks :) ).

I have no idea.  Any one of the top riders (RC, Reed, Kevin, Bubba, Travis) could win on any given weekend so it should make for a great season if they all stay healthy.  I was hoping to see the start of a great season last weekend but that obviously didn't happen because of the track conditions.  So I'm really looking forward to this round being a good race.

Pete

P.S.  Although I really have no idea who will win, I have to go with RC simply because I belive he has more inner drive to win than the other riders.  I think that he feels he has something to prove this year and will be tough all season.  I think Bubba is fast but I think mentally he is not where he was when he dominated the 125's and will take a couple races to get his confidence up.  And then watch out!  I think he will bring SX racing up to the next level.  But who knows....he could win this one....we'll just have to wait and see!

My friend Ryan Sipes got the holeshot and finished 3rd in the 125's.  Not too shabby for his 2nd time ever on an SX track. :)

TP another DNF :(

I seriously think he needs to retire for awhile like MC did and maybe come back to racing after a few years if things are ok or else he could seriously hurt himself (not that he hasn't allready) but I'd prefer to see him walk in future then trying to race SX or MX, his head cant be 100% there when racing with all the crashes he has had, specially in 250's.

Bulldog

That's too bad that Bubba broke his arm.  I think everyone, including the other racers, wishes it didn't happen.

I really don't agree with the AMA's decision to start with easy tracks and progressively make the tracks harder.  When you have 3 or 4 guys as fast as RC, Reed, Bubba and K-Dub, usually it is whoever gets the best start that wins.  I think it makes for bad racing.  And their excuse that they want to ease the riders into SX is ridiculous because they are ready for SX by the time the season starts.  If the tracks aren’t made more difficult real soon I think it is going to make for some very boring races this season.

Ya know Pete, harder tracks does not always equal better racing.  In fact, the opposite may be true in many cases due to the fact that only one or two may be able to do a particular section a certain way, and thus leave the rest of the field behind.  I think the key here (as always) is multiple lines for passing.  Tracks that are too easy tend to be one lined.  I believe a "good" track may not necessarily be be hard but have many different options...which allows the riders to choose the option that works best for him.  My $0.02.

ive always thought that they should build "inside" burms,  i know lines apear and an "inside" rut gets worn in, but i think if they made more insiide lines with diferent rythem coming in and out of the corners it would make for more choices, as we all know on any MCM track.

I agree Jeff.  But it is usually the more difficult tracks that produce those optional lines.  Without those optional lines I think most of these races will be runaway's.

Pete

If the track was so easy then why did Bubba break his arm?   From the helmet cam it didn't look so easy to me.   I thought it was more that the track was fast.

Bruce

DBR_Dodgy

he span out on a corner and still went for a seat bounce triple in a rythm section and cased.

I'm just relaying what I heard them say on TV about the difficulty.  Which was that the tracks were supposed to be easier at the beginning of the season and progressivly get more difficult.  Whenever I hear them talk about difficult tracks they are always talking about tracks that have certain lines that only some racers take.  To me that is just a well designed professional race track.  And since they are Pro racers....In my mind, the tracks should be designed for good racing at a Pro level for every round, not just the later rounds.  Short, fast, one line tracks do NOT make for good racing and have no place in the pro ranks of SX.

My 2 cents,
Pete

Hmmm... I used the DivX codec to compress it... maybe d/l the latest divx codec?
