That was a mud fest! Unlucky for MC and Reedy! Hopefully they finish strong at Pheonix. I hope Chad wins!
I was actually hoping Chad would win all 3 Anahiems.

RC is on the World SXGP championship. He should of gone on the AMA SX Championship, with all the top guys. I think someone is just after a championship :p

Ahh that's alright then. Yeah it isn't really a world championship when it is only held in the US.

I would like to seem them make it a true world SX GP and race all around the globe.  But that will probably never happen because then they couldn't run it at the same time as the AMA and have any good riders participate in the GP.

as good as the americans are at OUR sport lol (i say our sport in jest. cos it started here in the UK)
i really think they should get off there own front lawn sometimes and run the FULL world GP's

cos they race year in year out on the same ol tracks and they really could ride them blind fold. its like they are just happy to have there own internal world championships lol
theres only a few GP tracks that are the same each year so its always fresh.

Here's my take on this Ian:   $$$  They're going where the money is, plain and simple...Besides for whatever reason (usually political among other things) a lot of countries just hate us.  ...So if you can make more money and stay where the people like you, why would you go anywhere else? (even if your sense of right and wrong and what you SHOULD do are telling you different)  As you know from your own injuries your career can be over in an instant...better make sure wherever it was you were racing, it was worth it.

Just my $0.02 for whatever it's worth...

i tottally agree with you, me and my dad sit and watch the AMA nats and SX and the whole program is so profesianal from start to finish.
its like the whole "sports" thing in the US is funded alot better than here for sure.
so, yes,  why travel when the best offered is on ya doorstep.

it would just be real nice to see RC, K dub, and the rest do a season of GP's.  i know that it would never happen but hey i can dream  ::)

as for A1....this thread,, i get to see it this tuesday night, even though i know the results and have seen the pics i cant wait to see the mud fest.

There is actually some pretty good racing going on for several laps.  At one point Reed would triple and RC wouldn't or couldn't and then the reverse would happen.  The mud made them really choose their lines.

SX may be in the US, but it might as well be in England for me.  I live in NH and the closest SX to me is in Pontiac, Michigan.

But with the Euro it's probably cheaper for you to fly there than me.   I went to a class in California in October and there three guys from England in it.  It was cheaper for them to fly to California, stay a week, pay for the class, and rent a car then to pay for the class in England.
