MX VS ATV Reflex Tool

Hello everyone! I have created a tool for MX VS ATV Reflex that makes installing custom tracks and custom skins a whole lot easier. Once you have added some tracks and skin to the tool it lets you control what tracks are installed in game. So you can have as many tracks and skins in the tool that you want and then select all the tracks and skins in the tool you want to ride and use. Then you click one button and it installs all the selected tracks and skins. You can sort every list by clicking the column.

And once you have forgotten what track or skin is in some slot you just simply click "Installed Tracks" button.

Adding Tracks

Create a directory somewhere that contains the four beta track files (OPTIONAL: and a image or images) of your track of choice. In the tool to add a track you just click the "Add Track" button and a dialog appears where you select the directory that you created a moment ago. Now the track will appear to the list with the name of the directory that was imported. After this you can install the track by checking it and then clicking "Save Changes" button. Same goes for adding skins. Only difference between adding tracks and skins is that you add tracks from tracks tab and skins from skins tab.

Previewing tracks/skins

You can now review your tracks and skins before adding them. For example you have forgotten what kind of a track some track was, so you could view it in the preview dialog. If there is a image or images in the current tracks or skins directory in ReflexToolMods directory the preview dialog is going to show it. If there is more than 1 image then you cycle through the images by clicking on the arrows. You can also rate the track by clicking on the stars. Ratings are going to show up in lists around the tool. You can also type a description to the track/skin in the preview dialog. Just remember to click "Save And Exit" button when you leave :)

Backups

The tool will take backups by it self when ever you install skins. You can change this in settings dialog to take backups always, only when installing skins or never. There is also another setting "Leave Backups". This setting will change the amount of backups that is stored on your hard drive. You can access backups in Preset -> Backup Manager.

Presets

You can create presets now. This means that you can have a preset for different tracks and skins. Presets also have their own savegame file, so when ever you switch your preset you don't have to unequip anything ingame. This allows fast switching between skins. A new savegame is created for the preset when you create it in the "Presets" dialog. Thank you JamieT for letting me use his 15 million savegame file.

The tool does not seem bad. But for me, why it does not work ... Steam. Gives an error .. Maybe I have something wrong? Maybe I fix it? It would be very nice. Thank you.

What did you do before this error? Im pretty sure you tried to import a new track. If so you want to have the directory that you are importing on the same drive as your steam folder. The tool can't move files from a drive to another. Im going to fix that someday when I have time.

Hello, i am getting a error similar to the one above. This occurred while trying to install the JT compound. I know this is a special case and i followed the directions in the .txt file but something still went wrong. If anyone cares to help me, please add me on steam. I will link my profile. I have tried several different things to fix this including reinstalling everything and deleting the reflextool registry ( i think) but still no luck!

Thanks!

Im sorry guys I have a few versions of the tool in visual studio and I have accidently uploaded the wrong version to here. So now when you download the tool it's going to be the real one not a bad not developed experiment.

Awesome tool man!! I have a suggestion for newer versions, to automatically make a backup of save file every time you click on save changes button.

So your laptop screen is too small? All the dialogs are set so that you can't resize them because the buttons wouldn't change their places/size so it would only make the dialog bigger. You can add me on Steam Juusoavk.
