In need of assistance with DE (trees to be specific)

So! After reading C4's tutorial, which helped me a great deal... I got to the part where it discussed placing the 3d trees. It asks me to click the tree icon on the left, am I blind? Because I can't seem to find it anywhere. I dont really feel like using the 2d trees in my track. If anyone can help me in locating something as simple as trees I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys!

It could be that u have an old version of DE.

Nope. Currently it's 8.2.7

thats the version I have. Theres no ecosystems tab. So Im stuck with 2d trees, and that aint gonna fly.

I mean I have an objects tab... But all of the trees it provides me with are trees you would use to use for your background outside the track, nothing worth using on track. Ive looked under just about every folder in the objects and have yet to find anything, maybe Im just not looking in the right place?

Yep. Ur in the wrong place.. above the folders with all the objects in u can c 3 icons. A house (objects) two balls and trees. Click on the trees. Then open a folder of a track( where objects are usually) and double click on the file in there. Now u can select a tree in the eco system tab (top right) and in order to place it click the button with the tree and a little "+". Now u can place trees like normal objects.. hope that helped

if u dont have the trees.. u also dont have the right version of DE
