Hello Bob, hope all is well.  Yes this loks good, but Milestone has totally screwed up almost every game they make.  Hope this is not the case.

I am looking forward to it, but in the preview vids so far it looks a little floaty, especially when you land off jumps. and the whip scrub still looks animated too, but I may be wrong. for me im after realistic gameplay and after playing a lot of mx sim im going to be disappointed as it wont be close to the realism, but going to buy it anyway!, hopefully its easy to mod too!

I think the biggest thing that gives it a floaty appearance is how the rider reacts when landing from mid to high altitude.  I don't have a problem with gravity, I think it looks spot on.  It's just that the rider's body barely reacts to heavy landings, which definitely breaks the illusion.

In fact there seems be a big lack of fluidity in the animations / physics of the rider all around.  Like you say Al, the whips and scrubs look a little animated, and I think that's because of the rider.  If you look at the bike during a whip, it seems very similar to how Reflex handles it.  The big difference in Reflex though is that the rider's body positioning reacts so much more realistically that it maintains the illusion, and just looks natural.

I have a feeling though that the rider animations are still under development.  If you check this video for example > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBWGEZFTMSo   25 seconds in, you can see the rider's hands aren't even positioned properly on the bike.  So there's definitley some work that hasn't been shown to us yet. (I hope)

The tracks and environment though, just look amazing!  I'm pretty baffled by how they've achieved this.  I cannot wait to see how this was done.  Hopefully the guys that have made mods for MotoGP are quick to crack this baby open and dig around in the files! :)

I also think overall this will be the most realistic mx game we've had, besides Mx Sim (but that has a whole other set of issues).  This looks like it will be immediately playable, but also punishes you if you treat it wrongly! :)  I love that you can wash the front end out, but most of all, the rear wheel breaks traction!  This is something that Reflex and MXS haven't handled very well IMO.  In Reflex the rear end will just snap on you too quickly for you to catch it.  MXS is a little better, but getting into a major powerslide usually results in hitting the ground.  So far MXGP looks like the best way of seeing this type of bike behaviour in a motocross game.. --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz197-CZDSY

Not sure where this will be available?  I found it on Amazon as D/L only!  But was wondering if it will be available in US?

If anyone finds out where this is... please post links here.
