Photoshop CS not working properly

I was wondering if any-1 knew what is going on with my PC, or programme.

PS CS doesn't work, everey other prog that comes with CS does work. I installed PS 7, no problems at all.

The problem:
The loading screen shows up and when it reaches: reading Globale resources for text.... ready. Then it just and up dead doing nothing. the name of CS gets "(not responding)" behind its name.
In the error report windows makes it comes up with the following files:

C:\DOCUME~1\MessiaH\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2e8b.dir00\Photoshop.exe.mdmp
C:\DOCUME~1\MessiaH\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2e8b.dir00\appcompat.txt

Im clueless on this one, do any of u know whats going on?

Have you purchased it legaly? If you have then first try to reinstall it but else just contact adobe about it and you'll get all support you need.

workes fine for me... maybe the crack u guys used was bogus b/c i think i had a bad crack before nd i had that error.. try different cd keys and a new crack.. if i find the one i used ill hit u up on msn guys

16 year old school kiddos like us cant purchase a legal version..

I tried reinstalling it twice tho.. No effect.

Would it be smart to contact adobe when u have a illigal version tho? lol

Ok, i figured it all now..

Heres what u do:

1// Uninstal adobe CS and any other Adobe programmes such as other releases of Photoshop
2// Run norton systemworks and start one button check-up. (dont get scared cuz of the amount of registry errors, that normal.. And its just what we are after here)
3// Let one button check-up fix the errors it found.
4// Re-install CS
5// Have fun and thank John

You can usualy get student disscount on softwares (lovley thing) so purchasing it shouldn't be THAT harsh in the long run.
