gents,
mx simulator is finally here at twisted dirt!!.
i personally love mx sim, Ive been playing it for 18 months now and I have to say im hooked,
I have some plans of tutorials for track making and custom objects, also a wiki is being worked on to make finding information easy.

thanks to Bruce for setting this new section and the wiki up!

what do you guys think about mx simulator?

Hey Al,

Great to see you kicking things off around here.  I think a wiki type format is definitely needed for MX Sim.  As you know, I've been dabbling with the track making for this game recently, and I must say, their forums aren't the best place to find a comprehensive source of information.  Hopefully the wiki will become just that.

As for the game itself, I'm slowly warming to it, but I still find it incredibly frustrating...  Certain aspects are a lot better than Reflex, such as the way the bike handles in the corners and the way the bike actually leans.  When I went back to Reflex, I was shocked at how the bikes looks when you go round corners.  You can just turn the handle bars and the bike doesn't even need any lean!  hehe...

Nah, I haven't played MXS in months... I think Allan (al167) still plays though.

For multiplayer, the easiest way to race people is by joining one of these servers.. http://mxsimulator.com/servers/   You will need all the correct tracks though for whatever server you're going to join.  Or you can set up your own server, by using Hamachi, and connecting via IPs that way.  I don't really know much about that stuff, so you'd have to wade through the forums to get the info on how to do that.

you can catch me in the elsinore 02 and 03 servers sx from time to time as al167! but the 02 server will be going nationals after vegas, Twisted dirt doesn't run any servers for mxs. just like JT said go on to http://mxsimulator.com/servers/ to see what server to join!
