If you have something you feel that you should let people know about what does it hurt?  Thats like complaining  about people campaigning for the presedential election.  I can't stand John Kerry, but if people campaign for him it doesn't bother me.  Same thing here.  You guys may not like it, but Simon is doing what he feels needs to be done.  Which is get everyone to stop using IE.

yo, motox, i forgot to save the sites, but i have even got spyware and *#*#* all up in my favorites and buttons up in firefox, and ive gotten a few popups, id say 10 - 15 pop ups since ive owned it.... and 1 browser *#*#* up, and 1 browser spyware thing, but really cant complain that happed to me every day on IE, but i still wont not use it.....

Firefox is a cutting edge light browser by the Mozilla crew. The only thing Mozilla (the browser pack) and Mozilla Firefox has in common is the engine called "Gecko". Firefox could be compared to an mx bike. You get it but only the stuff you need for it to work. Then it is up to you to customize it for your needs and make it fit like a glove.

Firefox is getting popular already and many sites that feel that it is their social duty to ruin the internet have been starting to focus more and more on the hot furred fox. This is also why you, I and others for a while might have gotten pop ups and *#*#* (not been informed about any spyware problems yet but that's of course something that comes along with the pop up abuse).

They are working on a fix for this but I don't know if they have chosen to wait with that until the full release of Firefox in the next month though. If not then I'll tell you all once a fix is up. So far the only thing you can do is to turn of javascripts, at least for the sites where you notice that this is a problem.

There is no Google browser. The rumours said a lot of things, also that it was a co-op between Google and Mozilla. Some weeks ago Google went out officially about that rumour though, it is just so that Google register a lot of g-something.com domains just to reserve for feature ideas and projects.

Basically this doesn't say that there never will be something like a Gbrowser but it does say that they don't have one in mind or in the works at this moment so you don't have to keep the eyes open for it for a long time most likely. Sad but true. :-/

Ben, I did never ask you or anyone else here to become dedicated into the development of this browser as I am. Browsers aren't my life but web development is a big part of my life and through that browsers become a big part of my day. The browsers are what make that part of my life either easy or hard. All I do here is keeping those who are interested updated on things around it. I don't see any harm in that but if you do then do tell me.

At some point of my stay in this community I must have done something horrible towards you. I can't figure out what but it must have been something big since you simply can't let go of w/e you hold on to. If you could explain what I did I'll consider apologizing about it.

You make statements based on your opinion, yours doesn't weight more then anyone else's here so I think you should hold your opinions to yourself unless others may have opinions too (without you getting offensive of course). It sucks but you're not the only one in this world that has opinions about things.

I can't apologize when I can't stand for the apology. I don't consider myself idiotic, I consider myself as an individual that base my opinions on my thoughts and not anger or simply someone else's thoughts. I can apologize for one thing though, because I know you've been extremely bugged about it for as long as anyone can remember. I am sorry that I'm Swedish and don't speak the language you where born into all that well. I do my best to learn but that doesn't hold it up all the time which may (and a lot of times it has) lead to misunderstandings.

You know, when I look in a forum and see your name on a new post I feel anger. Not the "Why did you just hit me in the nut sack!" kind of anger. More like a "That person is stupid, I want to hear what he have to say this time just to be able to complain about it!" kind of anger. I can't stand seeing your replies or threads because I think I know that behind that some evil person hides with one goal, to be offensive against anyone and everyone. I really know that it isn't the case, I think that at some level you are the same (I don't know though, these aren't facts, just thoughts from my head). When I post something you can't stand it, it doesn't matter that you have nothing more to add on the current thread, you just have to show the world how much of a fool the person who wrote it is. I did so before. But if you haven't noticed I have stopped doing that, I only reply in cases like this where you direct something towards me.

For the love of anything I have never met you and I'm almost certain that I never will either. Why should I even bother having an opinion about you?

My biggest problem in the world is that I analyze things just a little too much. I also think that I know better then the one next to me. If you have an opinion I have to improve that opinion just to feel good about myself. Even though you use another method it looks like you have the same goal, making people see that you know better then the one next to you.
