just downloaded it!!!

after1/2 an hour of gameplay heres my take on the demo.

unable to free roam (just like gran turismo how your locked to the track path), horrible scrub button and energy drink boost and turbo start!!! and you can just hold it wide the whole way.

and sorry to say blackbean, glen helen isnt in the jungle and it didnt feel like glen helen at all??

i was soooo hoping this game would rock but it really let me down, my hopes of another good mx game have just been diminished.
im not shure if we will be able to do anything with it either......what do you think laurie?

racing 5/10
visuals, 8/10
phisics, 2/10
realism 2/10
arcade feel 10/10
traction  3/10
glen helen track 3/10

it felt like motoracer sort of.

would love to support this company and buy it... but i just dont think its worth it.

what do you all think. please rate and give your opinions.

I totally agree with your verdict.

I could go on a huge rant here about what I think of the gaming industry, but I will try keep it short.

I was so infuriated when I played this demo. Everything about the scrub is horrible, I wish I could think of a worse word to describe it, but I can't!
The animation of it was something from a ps one game. Heck, mcm2 whips felt better than this thing...
And the boost from a "perfect" scrub.... wow.... really?..

In real life, scrubs give you a speed-advantage, by definition. The physics do all the work for you.. You stay lower in the air, land sooner to get on the power.

I can't think of any other official sport license game which is so arcade-like. Its like they made no effort towards making any of the physics even look realistic.

I'm sure the developers had a pro rider working with them... No sure what his name is, but why did this guy let them think this was ok... He must have an interest in games, and must have played an MX vs ATV game before, the franchise was around for a few years. So how did he think this would be better?

I really cant get my head around what has been published, and branded an official license game. Its an embarressment to the sport of motocross in my opinion, and I would be ashamed to show this game to anyone, and tell them this is motocross....

I don't have a console and i can't see any PC demo so it's hard to know what can be done with the files.. I would guess they aer using something similar to their SBK engine so the tracks are spline based and don't use Displacement maps - but that is just a guess..
