Fuzzy line thingy on monitor

hey, Anyone ever had this problem where u get loads of the little like line thingys on the top of ya screen. Its kinda hard to explain but it started off not to bad but is slowly startin to get worse. So much that i can now not see the top icons in the track editor. Is just that my monitor is just screwed?

It could be that, or your videocard can sometimes be the culprit.

That could be a little thing called screen burnout.  Do you have a screensaver or turn your your monitor off when not in use?  I think the only way to fix it is to get a new monitor.

Fix the monitor and then get us a new track from you.

Whenever I had that and i went to the settings of my graphics card and I turned up the refreshing frequentie it fixed it everytime

Thats whats happening to my brothers monitor  , his monitor is super old and he has to hit it to make the proper colours to come on properly, and it has lines moving through the screen etc. His monitor is about 9 years old now 
How old is your monitor?

Was about 3-4 yrs...but used alot....anyway i ave a new 1 now
