Hey everyone!

This weekend my band "RiverGard" will be doing a LIVE Web-Cast from our gig Friday and Saturday nights (November 16th and 17th, 2007) starting at 9pm CDT both nights.

To view the webcast simply go to www.rivergard.com at 9pm CDT and click on the Web-Cast link on the left at the top of the menu. This will be our first Live Web-Cast and a test for future webcasts. This time around we will only be offering a single camera view. Future Web-Casts will feature 2 or more views. All Web-Casts will of course feature streaming video and audio.

I hope to see all of you Online tonight or Saturday for some LIVE Country and Rock music from Independence, Missouri!

RiverGard is a 5-piece Country and Rock band. Lately the band has been doing very well and building a lot of solid connections and accolades. The band has worked with every Country radio station in the greater Kansas City area and has opened for bands in concert, played fairs, played multiple benefits and recently RiverGard was approached by "Bass Pro Shops" corporate people and contracted to play a 2-day event for the Grand Opening of a new store in Independence, Missouri in late January of 2008.

That sounds pretty cool Paul! Unfortunately I don't have broadband Internet service at home anymore.   :(

Well...last night was not without it's problems (regarding the web-cast). Our apologies to those who TRIED to watch and found only streaming AUDIO but no VIDEO.

The venue's router (hardware firewall) was blocking the port needed to transmit streaming video.

Also the dropouts were because their lights kept blowing the circuit that the PC was on...so when the PC went off...the stream went down.

So...tonight should be SO much better! We're going to TRY to get the bar staff to let us use their PC for a minute to open the port on the router. We've also moved the power on the PC to another circuit, so we should have no dropouts due to power outtages tonight. Hopefully we'll also have video.

Again...our apologies to those that tried to brave the BS and give a listen. I promise if you listen/watch tonight things will go MUCH smoother.
Sincerely,

Paul Valenti - Owner/Operator - Sound Advice
