A friend and me recently loaded MCM2 back on our PC's and started downloading all the old tracks we used to love. We also started downloading some newer stuff we never had and this was one of those tracks. I do have mixed feelings about this track but there is no doubt the quality of your work is extremly good. I've never designed tracks but I've been a level creator and editor for several games (EA Sports TW Golf, Counter Strike, Team Fortress 2, and more) and I always enjoyed hearing what people thought, so I thought I would give you some feedback on my thoughts. If I didn't like the track at all, I wouldn't even bother, but there are alot of things to like about this track, and in my own opinion, a few things I wished that were done a little different.

First, I thought the overall look was absolutely fantastic. The objects and textures were outstanding. The lighting was great and I can say with a huge smile on my face that I really enjoyed your creative approach to laying out this track. That's one of the first things I look for in a track, does it look different (not just objects or textures, but the layout) then anything else. I liked how you mixed it up, with the little trail on the ridge, and things like that. I never felt that any two areas of the track were similar and I love seeing that. When I was first racing it, I was saying in my head this track could be one of my top 5 favorites (and I have like 150 tracks). It looked that good. But as I continued to ride along, some areas really felt very extreme to the point I almost wanted to give up riding it. Don't get me wrong, I love a track that makes you think, and challenges your riding ability. But at the same time, I think it must never ignor the limitations of the physcis engine this game has. The bike can get bouncing on some of the really bumpy areas and it just forces you the wrong way at the wrong time. I'm not giving up though, I still continue to race it a few times a week trying to keep learing all the nuances of the track but if I could wave a magic wand, I would just change some of the more extreme bumpy sections to a somewhat smoother line. It's just hard to try and get any rythym going in some areas. But keep up the good work. I love your artistic approach to track designing and hopefully someday soon you will make another track that's just a tad easier to ride.
