Problem with MX vs ATV anyone can help please????

Hi all , i reinstalled this game and this is what comes up in a box when trying to play the game,

"A REQUIRED SECURITY MODULE CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED,THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT BE EXECUTED"

I have played this game before on this system and now i reinstall and this comes up......anyone can help me please?

Off the top of my head sounds like you have a DLL missing, or your security software Firewall or virus scanner doesn't like MVA running.

Do you have DX9c installed (it's part of the MVA install if you don't)?

Have you upgraded or installed a firewall or virus scanner since you last ran MVA?

Hey Laurie, yes i have just recently got a new anti virus firewall protection so it must be that.

What can i do to allow it to play the game??

That depends on what type of firewall/vrus scanner it is. I use Sygate firewall and AVG virus scanner, i don't have experience with anything else, but for me i have to tick a box to give MVA permission to access the internet. You might also have to change how the virus scanner checks files, stopping it from checking files when they are run, or at least stopping it from checking MVA when it is run..  how you do that on your system i'm not sure..

Its the computer associates virus scanner,firewall and spy ware protection , i tried adding mxvsatv and even have disabled all aspects of the virus system but still cant get the game to run its really annoying me bad as i want to ride like Chad Reed..lmao yeh right as if i could catch him.....lol
