ok,   does the grid resolution have to be a certain size?       i get down to 2.0  and then it dumps me on the desktop.
im guessing the smaller i make it the better the detail.

As far as tutorials', Jeff's is the only one that I know about.  He figured out/created the process.

It's hard to say why it's dumping you out, but when you get down to 2.0 or way up there then you are exploring the unknown.

Awesome Sig.

I've had that problem before myself, I simpley had to realise that 2.5 was the limit I had but a 2.5 HD track should really be enough for anything :P (imo)

DogBite SX was a 1.5...  I think it depends on how intense/detailed the disp map is.  On DBSX it is flat everywhere except for the track, and even then the track isn't that hilly.  If you've got a ton of detail then either MCM2 or your computer just may not be able to handle it.  This is the only explanation I can think of if the only thing you change is the grid res.  Sorry...

Thank you very much JeePee  ;D

To be honest, I was a little confused with the double (disp) map,
you know the one of the center with the one on the right side (in the perimeter so),
and that was the tutorial I was searching lol,
but "your" tutorial is another great stuff for us ... the oldies  :P

I must clarify some more things before doing the rest on the Website, too much stuffs in my head for now  ;D

Thanks  :-*
