I have a problem with the splines...
I'm making a track and on this one I want to create big shortcuts (cutlines). But after some tests, I have often the 5 seconds penalties when I cut the lines and I stay between the left and right splines !
Is there a tip in Dillo 1 or 2 to fix that ?
I have tested in Dillo 1 ... putting points of the red line front of the points of blue lines, nothing change...

Any idea ? or I must put the red line in the middle between the blue lines ? but this is weird with the AI riders and when we are respoted after a crash in this area.
TY.

Edit : the shortcuts I want are really bigger than showed on the example picture.

8)  hey Phil ... I been Experimenting alot with WIDE multi-line splines in recent months, and I believe
that the problem you are facing is due to your center spline (red line) being placed too far out of center. For instance, you are probably being called back when riding closest to the side that is furthest from the center spline, If ya want I can email a couple pics of a track I am working on now so you can see how I had to run the spline in order to overcome this anomaly

peace dude ;D

Yes you can send the pics to my gmail account (check under my avatar).
Thanks for the reply.

Phil u can put the red dots where u want , but u need to put the red, blue and green all in line, not twisted, this is the key to put that to work and sometimes add some more dots,
if u can´t put it to work send me the pdf file and your map and the grid and height nº´s of armadillo and i will fix it for u.

Thank you guys, the track is uploaded http://www.mcmfactory.com/display.php?cat=tracks&id=2084
It seems it's impossible to do splines like I want...
The splines I wanted were so large... the track doesn't look like I wanted.
Thank you anyway... have a nice end of the year 2005 and see you in MVA !
Phil.
