Looks like 8 player limit for online play which is seriously disappointing.  Still looking forward to the first decent MX PC title since MCM2 and getting back into track creation scene again ;).

It really dissapoints me MX game developers have not bothered to create a external dedicated server.exe which all the good car sims and FPS shooters have so large amounts of players can play at once :(  20 riders on a dedicated server would be a perfect limit I think.

WhiteBoy

that track edditor is goona be cool :) i cant wait

bondsmx

amazon says it ships jan. 16th, but on the thq website it says march???   which is it?  i would guess march????? any news?

Thing I like the most about the track editor... What's that down there? YES PEOPLE IT'S THE TASKBAR! :D Finally, no more shoddy fullscreen GUIs :D I'm pretty excited about this to be honest...

I also welcome the track editor in a window but hope that it still allows to test the track because I switch back and forth between height map editing and testing quite often.  It would be a major pain to bundle and go into the game each time to test.

DirtTwister

I always tested in MCM 2 rather than Armadillo.  I found that the bike jumped different than in MCM 2 so I couildn't judge how to edit my dispmap by testing in Armadillo.

I soon found  this to be the case, I rode in the editor up untll I could make it around the track, then started to refine it in-game

Yeah I remember you man ;) No problemo, I like helping people. I can't speak for Whitey, but I'll definitely be making some tracks again!
