Unless I'm missing it, looks like we have to add the fans into the stadiums??? If so fine but I thought I'd make sure 1st

ElDiablo (Paul)

You are correct...the MXU stadiums are in several pieces and you have to contruct them yourself in Dillo Too.

im guessing the best way is to make a stadium and make sure you have that saved for furture projects, adding fans can take some time. thanks for the help!

XFR_MJS

yea, this seems like a ton of work to get these fans in the seats.. is there an easier way?? has anyone done it yet??

MX45

I havnt messed with the mxu stuff, but the piviot point for all objects that make up a stadium should be the same.
IF it is, then copy/paste the position from the .scn

Yea that was what I was thinking... you'd have a few meshes on the exact same spot and they fit perfectly :)

XFR_MJS

I got it, took just over an hour

cR

Why don't you post the coordinates so others can use them :)

ElDiablo (Paul)

Open the project.scn file in notepad and copy/paste the coordinates all info for the objects connected to the stadium.

Since you don't know HOW to do it then I'll assume that instead of placing them manually by editing the SCN file (as Mike suggested) you did it by hand in D2? That's why it took you an hour I'd say.

XFR_MJS

yea, i did it in D2.. you mean I could have done it in minutes??? gezz  :-[

ElDiablo (Paul)

Yes and you could still have done it through D2. There is a button that you can push to place objects MANUALLY that allows you to enter the coordinates of each object. With the stadiums...all the pivot points are in a central location. If you place the body of the stadium first...you can just copy the coordinates and enter those same coordinates in Dillo Too OR hand edit the SCN file.

If the pivot is centered at the bottom you could easely place all at 0,0,0

ElDiablo (Paul)

Ehh...Not necessarily. That would work if your track is exactly centered in the middle of your displacement map. But not all tracks are perfectly centered. But THEORETICALLY you are right Clint.
