ElDiablo (Paul)

Hey all!

As some of you may already know...I was fortunate enough to be asked to join TD. Words can't express how honored I am to be part of such an awesome team. So I thought that I would post some screen shots of what will become my first TD release.

So far I am calling the track Full Speed Ahead...

That's it for now... as you can see it's not done yet. I've still got to place the tape stakes on most of the straights and inside corners and the textures need some adjusting here and there. But you can get a pretty good idea of what's up anyway.

We will be beta testing it and I expect to release it in the next 2 weeks or so...depending on how long it takes to place the tape stakes (it's extremely tedious) and wether or not any map changes wind up needing to be done.

For those of you who are looking at the sky cube and saying...WOW...lol... I used 12 digital elevation maps (DEM's) of the Yosemite Valley area that I downloaded from the US Geological Survey website and stitched together to make the terrain for the cube. I made a few minor adjustments and I think the end result turned out a fairly dramatic terrain. I would rate this as my best ever sky cube.

Sincerely,
