good screen capture program...

im trying to capture screenshots from a dvd but it just shows up as blank... whats the deal? anyone know of a program that can capture screen shots from a dvd while its playing on my pc? thanks... btw i know this has nothign to do with track creators but it seems i always can get some kind of help in this forum..

Here's a media player called VLC (VideoLAN) You can capture pretty good screenshots with it. Just go into one of the top tabs (forgot which one, havnt used to program in acouple weeks) and there is an option for screenshot, just press it and it will save the part as a jpg from where you pressed the button.
