Is it the first file under the MXU Tracks at download i need to have for playing the tracks??

Fixer

just follow the steps outlined on the download page-  and after you try them come back and let us know what you think?!  The "eco.res & global.res are the 2  you must have, the rest is optional but recommended, both files are in the download. ... of coarse you need to download the tracks!

Jjust follow these steps:

Download this:
http://www.twisteddirt.com/MXUtracks/files/TD_Global_Res2.zip

To install these files, first locate the folder that contains the MCM2 game files. this may be the default of:

'C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Motocross Madness2'
or
'C:\MCM2' for those who build tracks.

Inside the game folder there should be a sub-folder called '\RES', this is where you will put the new extended RES files.

To install the files:

1) make a back-up of the original files, Eco.Res and Global.Res, by either copying them to another folder or renaming to something like Rainbow_Eco.Res.

2) unzip the TD_Res.zip into the '\RES' folder, this should overwrite the originals, you can make sure they have been installed correctly by checking the size of the files against the back-ups you have just made.

You are now ready to run the MX Unleashed tracks ..

These RES files have been created by adding the MXU files to the original MCM2 files, which means you can still run all your MCM2 tracks just like before.
