Well my problem is im getting bad lag in some track with my new video card (ATI9600 Pro). On my old system (Ati9000) I was able to run the same tracks with NO lag at all. It was O/C a little but not much. On one of Steve's tracks (STC007), I was hitting 74 FPS (Ati9600 Pro) and i was getting lag. Thats with my new system. With my old system, I would run the same track lag free. Anyone knwo what the problem could be?
Thanks,

If your system can maintain FPS at your monitors refresh rate setting with vsync on MCM2 will play smoother and not jump the FPS up and down like with vysnc off.

I'd rather have my FPS to be at a constant 85 FPS then jumping around from 100 to 170 etc which causes lag and the actual game physics to change during game play.

I'm not sure if you guys know this, but having over 100 FPS in MCM2 riding around very tight berms like on my US OPEN 01 and Twisted SX Night etc causes the bike to slow down a lot. On bigger tracks or flat tight corners it doesn't seem to affect the bike at all, I found this out years ago when I built my new PC and testing MCM2 on US OPEN SX 01 before a tourney.
