Does anyone know if there isn't a modifier in 3D Max (v.6) to make objects drop like there is gravity... example...i put a bale in position in top view but to place it perfectly rotated to the track dispmap it's hard to get it done by rotating, so mebbe it can be done whit something like gravity that makes it drop down...

can anyone help?

Armadillo Object Scripter....AOS. Jeff (Mcmnut) made it. It will get all your objects properly lined up BUT they must be placed in dillo first to actually get the script.

lol duh i know that for a few years or something now...

i want to do it in 3d max...not dillo or stuff... just something that drops them down on the dispmapped plane

you might be able to use grid placement on polygons but im not totally sure. i know you can do it when creating a new object. autogrid or something like that.

where do i find that?

I just tried it using reactor made the bale drop but when i use my dispmapped plane as the collision thing to make the bale collide on it, somehow its like it been placed up and the bale is hovering over it... moved it down but it only makes 5 keyframes...and not the right one...:S how do i let it make more keyframes when i do Create Animation in reactor?
