on the old messenger when ya got a message a pop up came up to say ya had a new message.  can that be added again so that when ya browsing the forums and one comes in you get a pop up.

it does that already ian if u scroll right up to the top then look left and u will see it

no i mean a pop up window to say you have a new message.
on the old forum it used to pop up when you logged on to say you have a new message,
i mean it should pop up while your browsing the forum cos somtimes you can go from post to post and no see that you have a message just come in unless you keep looking.

yeah it just poped up as you first entered the forum.

but it would be cool if it popped up when you were just on the forum browsing.

yeah Ian that would be creat if the TD guys fixed that because you never like notice the messages lol

That is something that I added to YABBSE.  I haven't investigated yet how to do that with SMF.  It is something I'll be doing, but probably not for another week or so.
