ok i startde building a track everything was workin fine and now ''view disp map'' is giving me problems, when i try save it gives a msg ''runtime error 5104 - could not create memblock at line 549'' ans sometimes it just closes the program...i dont understand because it was working fine the hole time

Have you tried running the program as an administrator?  Also, are you running this from your desktop, or from inside Digital Earthworks?  I have always ran it from the desktop, but I have heard that it's possible to use the tool in the editor as well, but I'm not too sure, as I've never tried it.

i am running as admin yes, well its installed in deafault location but just run it with the shortcut from desktop, i do have digital earthowrks open when i run it but its seperate though, i have tried closing everything and running it by itself and even uninstall and reinstall but not working:(

Is this a DE problem? From your answer i don't think so, but i'm not clear which program is giving the error?
