Team VRT wants to invite all of you MCM2 addicts to a MCM2 Reunion, This will be a 1 night event for guys to revive that MCM2 addiction we all had for so many years, and a great time to catch up with some old friends.This will be a round robin style tournament hosted by me (VRT_RIDEBLUE65) at the MDX-Racing rooms. MCM 2 Reunion 2008

Date: September 13, 2008
Time: Tracks available @ 5pm pst, Sign ups 6:30 pst, Racing at 7pm pst
Format: Round Robin style, 4 different tracks, 2 Supercross, 2 National.
Where: At the MDX Zone Racing Rooms

Headlines

1)   Racing Format: 3 heats (8 Laps) (2 Nationals, 1 Supercross) // (1) 20 lap main event on a Supercross track). 1st heat,1up, all remaining heats, 2up  & 2 down format.
2)   Sign ups: I will ask all racers to post in the MDX Zone to post "Please sign me up" in the chat lobby. 3)   Heat Alignments: All the heats will be posted by the host (VRT_RIDEBLUE65) after ALL the sign ups are complete, the 1st name posted in the heat and main arrangements will be the host,*** IMPORTANT*** THE HOST WILL THEN MAKE SURE ALL THE RACERS IN THEIR HEAT ARE TO ARRIVE (VIA IP) INTO THE MCM2 RACE ROOM!
4)   Race Results: The winner is responsible for posting the results in the lobby chat.
5)   Tracks Availability: ALL the tracks are going to be kept top secret until race night, there will be subtle hints, screen shots etc to make the track guessing fun (see the VRT Forums). The tracks will be available 2 hours prior to race time, so this will give everyone plenty of time to download and get warmed up. 6)    TD Global RES File:YOU WILL NOT NEEED THE TD RES FILE TO RACE THESE TRACKS, BUT I REC. GETTING THE TD RES FILE ANYWAYS. Direct link to TD Global Res file at http://bluescreations.net/downloads/TD_Global_Res2.zip
7)   Race Recorder: The crew over at MDX has done an amazing job with the MCM2 Recorder, this recorder is NOT required for this event, although I do encourage it as it is a great tool.
   Race the track: This event is for fun, so lets race the track and have fun, remember, we don't get paid to do this, so lets make it fun!! Mistakes happen, but don't test the spline everylap!

MCM Help

Windows XP bug should not be an Issue in the MDX Zone, or if you join the race VIA IP #, Although Windows Vista is unproven, here are some tips to get MCM2 working on Windows Vista thanks to VRT_JPLisbon
1-Set compatibility of the short-cut to xp.
2-Disable the UAC of vista.

Final Note
This event is about having a good time, so don't take it serious, but bring your race game and have fun with this, this event is about revisiting with some old friends for a few hours and catch up on what life has brought to all of us Virtual Racers!
