I started having a problem a few days ago where every second or so, the display freezes for a moment then starts going again. I'm using the vcache and page file fixes from maui cool, but they don't help.

I'm running Windows XP SP2 w/ a 3.0Ghz processor, 1Gb RAM, a Radeon X300 grahpics card w/ 128 MB memory, and a 1280x1024 monitor at 32 bit color, ir that's any help.

Virus?

actually, it turns out that if I turn off "wait for vertical sync" the problem goes away
