Well I placed a fair amount of objects on my track, which took a while. So I thought I better save it, because I don't want to do this again unless I have to. As you do, I read the Help files, and it told me to press "Pack" to save. I did. But now it is saying the track is locked when I try to open it again? I still haven't run APM or added a sky. So the track isn't finished.

What do I do now? Why isn't D2 opening it?

..........anyway.....

just hit "new" and reload your project. Your objects will be there.

In the future, save a backup of the .scn file once you get your obs placed. theres an scn export button in d2

i allways save the track to projects folder and nat folder, just in case i have pressed yes by mistake.
that way there is no tears, if you make the mistake,. i allways have a back up of the track under a different name...  for the sake of few extra presses on the mouse button, its best to be safe, then sorry... this bit is for the twisteddirt boys, the more i have been working with dillotoo97, i have found life much easier, the last track i made, i had it 99% completed, when i got a suggestion, to redo one of the down hills, the thought of having to back to armadillo and starting from scratch again, was not an idea i entertained, thanks to dillotoo97 i was able to export the files back to armadillo, the job took me ten minutes, instead of 3 or 4 hours, that i expected. a big thanks guys for the work you put in to mcm2, and saving this old guy from going mad at times. much appriciated.  :)
