my people rule.

i believe the only way to get around this is to build an actual sky dome that is an object around the outside of the stadium and place a stock stadium after running apm and save it as a supercross...or something along those lines.

Meybe turn fog on? But then the fog would be to close I think... try it...

The only way to see objects or terrains from fare away is to use no sky. Dillo 2 gives that option and u could choose 1 color instead of a sky.
U can change the distance in game settings / grafic options. It was made for less lag.

it doesnt do it with the stock stadiums.. i hate to keep using stock stadiums but i cant have the sky coming through the stands either

The sky cube is just a box textured with your sky cube textures just like any other object, except it moves around centered on the the current camera view.  So whenever another object or part of an object is further away than the edge of the sky it cuts part of the object off. The only way to get around it is to make your own sky object should be aesy it's just a box with textures on the inside, like big inverted bail.

The reason stock stadiums don't show through is because they are smaller.

3D studio max with the UniBastard plugin or Milkshape3D (latest version) and then you'll need to learn the basics of low poly model making (not as difficult as it might sound), or ask someone to make one for you there's plenty of people around who can, might take a bit to find someone who will though.

surely after 5 yrs of track making im not the only person who has this problem????? hard to believe it hasnt come up before

mcm2boys

It has come up before, people either leave it as it is, use a smaller stadium or build the sky into their stadium. I think that's pretty much the only choices.
