Hey I'm having issues with textures on my track, Some of them are really white and others work but look a bit grey, any ideas on what the problem could be.
here's some links to a screen shots of the problem.

Any Help would be great.

you have indexed mode selected for the mask map so the textures are not blending. in photoshop under image- mode, select rgb and 8 bit.

The grey looks like it's just the texture you're using for that particular channel.

@al167 Ok thanks for that any idea how to do that in gimp?
@Jamie T the texture I'm using on that channel is the brown moto448 grass however every texture except for grassland mud and grassland grass have this issue.
I Have also noticed that when i change the color of the spherical reflection map it disperse's but then my rider turns dark and has no reflections.

Okay I now know for sure that is something to do with the way I'm creating the rgb mask. because i tried the sample masks in the editor and they all work fine.

once changed you will have to start again using a soft brush. try using layers and opacity to get the desired effect.

okay thanks for that i'll see how it goes.

okay i seem to still be having the issue but i have just noticed that my alpha channel is still set to white but i don't know how to change it as it wont let me edit it any ideas on how to do this. I have started a new image and selected rgb and used layers.
Thanks
