Video Card Question

Ok guys...

sorry for the misinformation... I bumped up the res to 1152x864 all the sliders up to 9 in game.. and the first number in the FPS box reads anywhere from 160-240.. always changing.  The 2nd box reads 130-160 constantly. If I'm not mistaken the 2nd box is the actually framerates, no?

So, not 240..but 130-150 is sure good for me.  ;D

The first number is the point frame rate so the figure for any 1 frame, the second number is the average over a period of time, at least that's what i think. Also once you get over 50 FPS the human eye can't really tell the difference anymore, the only benefit you might get from these high frame rates is that the physics model routines get run more often so making for 'more accurate' physics modelling, but that might not be true either depending on how Rainbow wrote the physics engine.
