I have the new MSN 7.0 Beta.  When I click sign in, it makes me download version 6.2.  I download it, but it won't sign on.  Anyone else having a similar problem or know how to fix this?  :-\

Un-install MSN7 and get 6.2 again. This was a desperate move by Microsoft because of the beta leak making people like you and me able to try it out when we shouldn't. Bo-ho for us but we at least got a sneak preview of it.

They are just doing some scheduled maintenance right now so don't expect msn to be working all time this week (or at least a few days ahead). We all know that their "short shutdown" can last for days if you're un lucky.

you think that with all the technolagy they have, a simple warning a few days before as you sign in that there is going to be some "schedualed" maintenance.

oh well at least its not just me.

I prefer to use trillian.  You can use it for aol, msn, icq and yahoo all at the same time and you can even be logged into more than one account at a time of the same type.  It still has notifications when other users come online or when I get incoming e-mail.

They actually message you (or should atleast) some minutes before they do this.

I used to use trillian but it's sloppy way of shareing files didn't really cut it for me + that it keept being unstable on my system and finaly because it isn't free to use the full and updated (most likley more stable) version of it. :(
It's a great software though. :P
