help with dillo

Hey i got out the mcm2 cd and was gona play around with the track editor and im having trouble geting it to run on win7.I got the .dill's to go away but it just opens to a black screen and nothing loads up any one can help it would be good thanks.

I haven't tried it on Win7 but have you tried running it under one of the compatibility modes win2000 or winxp.

You aren't clear on whether or not you are running Dillo Too or Armadillo.

I had several issues with MCM 2 in Windows 7 and stopped trying.  The main one was that it takes forever for it to process the tracks folder.  There is something about windows 7 and the way it gets information out of it's files.  The second one was that the user interface screens flicker.

I run compatibility mode on MCM 2, I don't have to on Armadillo.  It runs fine on my Windows 7 without flicker.  You didn't say whether or not you had actually setup a profile and everything in MCM 2. That is probably required.

Dillo Too also runs fine on my Windows 7 without flicker.

It's possibly an issue with your video driver and the games detection of resolutions.  To help with that you can temporarily set your resolution to what the editor is using.  It is 800x600 by default if we are talking Armadillo.
