Hey all, i just got a brand new comp and for some reason whenever i try and go to the site i get the standard network timeout error page. It is deff a problem on my end as the site is running fine for every one else. It worked fine on my old pc. the new pc came with mcafee virus protection. i have tried turning the firewall off and turning off mcafee all together but no luck. it doesnt work on IE of FireFox. is there some way to tell mcafee to allow this site, or is there any other solutions? this sucks cause without the forums there is really no point in making new tracks or playing the game! I just got an alienware.

I've read a lot about McAfee problems, it really gets into your system, screws with lots of unrelated stuff and is hard to remove, and most people who know what they are doing seem to end up replacing it.

That doesn't help much, and unfortunately i don't use McAfee. But what i don't get is why it picked on MX-HQ and decided not to let that one through. Are there any other sites you can't get to?

thats the only one i came across so far. but im really not on the internet to much. im sure theres others though. is there a way to allow mcafee to view the site?

Found this on the McAfee site:

please follow these instructions:
Log in to your account on this PC, and open SecurityCenter.
On the SecurityCenter Home pane, click Parental Controls.
In the Parental Controls information section, click Configure.
On the Parental Controls Configuration pane, click Advanced.
On the Parental Controls pane, click Filtered Web Sites.
Type the web page's address in the http:// field, and click Allow.

But from what i read there you should get a message saying the site was blocked by McAfee. The standard 404 error page suggests that your PC can't find the MX-HQ web site on the internet - so i'm not sure the above will help you too much..

But who knows.. :)

I just figured this out...Mxghq server was blocking my IP adress..My Ip is close to a IP that is banned from mxghq website so their server is blocking me from connecting.I ask Messiah if i am banned and he say no so that is not the issue for me.I get many requests for help with this issue so this problem seams to be big for mxghq website..I used a "hide my IP adress"program and connects fine..Then close that program and then try again and get blocked from connecting..Another fix is get a new IP adress..Search Google with "change my Ip adress" and you can find info how to do this..Hopes this helps  anyone having same issue..=FallGuy=
