fixer i am trying to use the mcm2 trains  and i assigned spline on them just to go in a straigt line back and forward but they dont keep same speed

i have set all at same speed 2mph  and jused same splines just diffrent starting points.

so can you help?

I'll try, I currently don't have any  MCM 2 utilities or even the game installed- still on one of my hard drives though-  but I can get around to do that.

Are you using splines made in Dillo 2?

Have you tried increasing the speed to see if that was the problem?

I've never run the train that slow and the way the trains animation works that maybe a problem.

I have been able to get all kinds of different speeds for the train regardless of the "set" speed by controlling the # of spline points in max.

You can have a ton af spline nodes and MCM 2 will only read every 15th one (I think-- if I remember right - it's been years)

I know I had some really detailed splines and had to eliminate nodes to get the train up to my intended speed.

The best way  (for me) to make splines is in max, the easiest way is in Dillo 2.

do you know of any tutorials on how to make splines in max . i could not figure that out

No, I don't but basically you just make the spline then make a dummy object, and animate it along the spline.
