If you like the tracks in MXU for the consoles then you will love them in MXvsATV Unleashed for the PC. Thanks to Bob (fixer) TD is able to bring you 22 MXU National tracks and 24 MXU SX tracks.

What started out as some experimenting within TD (lead by Laurie (mcm2boys)) turned into a labor of love for fixer. The amount of work in figuring out the problems and assembling all 46 tracks is just unbelieveable to me. It's a lot of work just to download and ride them all.

My helmet is off to Bob (fixer) for the amazing effort and to Laurie (mcm2boys) for the getting the ball rolling.  Let them know what you think.

Enjoy

Thanks again for converting all these tracks Bob!  I can't even imagine how much work it must have been.

i have problems running the tracks Online , offline looks everything ok in the tracks i rode.

I moved out all the extra files and all the custom tracks of user tracks folder , i just have mxu tracks in user tracks.

National ONline:

•MXU_Ensenada make mxa crash. (im in the online mxa room , i go to tracks screen and select ensenada , when i go to the online room mxa crash)

Tracks that work:
•MXU_Black_Hills
•MXU_GoblinValle

Tracks that load as MXU_Blueridge:
•MXU_Bodie
•MXU_CasaDeCobre
•MXU_Cedar_Mills
•MXU_Doha
•MXU_Foxpark
•MXU_Grandview
•MXU_Hillsboro
•MXU_Manassas
•MXU_Pine_Bluff
•MXU_Racine_Long
•MXU_RacineShort
•MXU_Rattlesnake
•MXU_Seneca_Butte
•MXU_SignalButte
•MXU_Slack_Jaw
•MXU_Sliderock
•MXU_Summerhaven
•MXU_Waimea

#The 1º time i go to mxa online and choose MXU_Black_Hills , mxa load a freestyle track.

This problems are in online lan , you guys can play all tracks online ?
I tryed diferent times and didnot work.

Build (convert) all this tracks is a amazing job specialy with so many objects, files ...... u guys know.
Props to Fixer and every one involved.

I dont know if the 1º track i run online was MXU_Blueridge but i remember i race it and the 2º online rider was in a diferent spline.

But looks like the problem is not with MXU_Blueridge , mxa load the 2º pak file that is in USERTRACKS folder (by name) witch is MXU_Blueridge , i deleted MXU_Blueridge.pak and mxa load MXU_Bodie , it will always load the 2º pak.

With just the Mxu sx tracks in USERTRACKS folder it will load the 2º pak either (MXU_SX02.pak) , this is wiard , IN Online Lan.

Offline races its all good, this tracks are awesome , with pov-ray and alot traction.

I never tested them in multiplayer.  Mostly because I can't stand to play multiplayer because of the crappy interface.  So I honestly don't know if they work in multiplayer or not. But I don't know of any reason why they shouldn't.  If I have time tomorrow I will try to test some multiplayer play with these tracks.

This is about the same post I just made in the TD Team forum:

My thoughts on the track problem with playing tracks online :

1- The "MXU" or "MXU_" prefix is confusing the  online portion of the game.

2- Or the game is only reading the first 3-4 charactors then selecting the second one it finds.

The sad thing is I have a LAN and two boys who love video games but after 2 weeks neither ever wanted to play this game again.

I got my one son to try a few of the tracks but never could get him interested in racing a few. The problem would have showed up then.

If  people are having wierd spline issues then either they have somebodies beta version or the game is loading a different track (because they don't have all the tracks) ???

I think it will take a complete renaming convention of all the track files and internal references to address this issue.

Of coarse they will have to be reuploaded and redownloaded.

Pete: don't worry about it - it shouldn't have happened, "the game is lame."

The game itself needs fixed in regard to having a problem like this one.

Final thought.... this game is the biggest POS I've ever wasted my time on...  ;D  but I will go through and test my theory and start renaming all of the files and internal references.. this will take a while...

I renamed 3 or 4 paks , just the names inside mxa , not the paks name , i removed the > : < (2 points) but didnot fix nothing.

We have found out what the problem is and we are now trying to determine what the best way to fix it is.

Alright- It only took 3-4 hours of failed attempts and tests to find the problem and the solution, I've got half of the Nat's fixed and I'm going to try to finish them up and test them all tommorrow on my LAN.

Thanks again for all the work Bob!

Thats good news , this tracks are great , good job and thx Fixer. I dont race alot online but when i do  its always good race this tracks online.

The tracks have all been fixed and have been replaced on the server.  If you downloaded before 9/20/2006 17:00 EST then you need to re-download them to properly select them online.

It was determined that the CRC is required in order to select them for online play.  It appears that once you have more than one track with the same CRC (or no CRC) then the online track selection will select the first track it has with that CRC.  There is nothing that says the CRC has to be correct or even what a correct CRC is.  There could still be problems with various individual collections of tracks.  Not to mention the problem with the fact there is no standard way to mod the game.  Extra pak files could cause you problems with these tracks.
