Hey, Newbie here!
I have a couple of questions.

1.I haven't downloaded any tracks in a few years and seemed to have forgotten where they should be stored and then how to bring them back up to use. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

2. I have a Microsoft (USB) controller that I would like to use instead of the keyboard. How do I get this to work?
It has been a long time since we played any PC based mx games and would really likeĀ  get back into it.

Our old computer crashed taking over 100 user tracks with it on mcm2 a few years ago and with dial-up then we didn't want to try and reload so... Playstation here we came. yuck!

Jopefully back for the real fun!
Thanks guy's!

Well... first, you will need a fairly quick processor/computer to run MX vs ATV (MVA)!!!  They recommend 1.2Ghz min... but in my experience you will need a lot more.  No less than 2.0 IMHO.

CONTROLLER:
You should get the controller to run under XP first through the control panel/controllers.  Once it is installed correctly MVA will find the controller and all you have to do is select it under options/controls

TRACKS:
After D/L and unpacking the file sim0ply add it to you data/user tracks folder and then select race / user tracks in the MVA menu.  MCM Factory is the best place to D/L user tracks at this time.

Hope this helps....!

1) When you download a track either save it to your desktop OR open it. If you don't get those choices then you probably don't have WinZip or WinRar. If not...then go to www.google.com and search for a free/demo version of either of those...they ARE available.

When you want to put the tracks into the game, double click the zip/rar files or drag select all of them (if there is more than one) and choose to extract files to the ...\MX vs ATV Unleashed\data\UserTracks folder. All tracks wether SX, Nat, etc go loosely in that folder.

Can't help you with your controller. I'm on XP Pro and it just recognizes any USB controller through DirectX 9.0c. You're controller SHOULD work if you just plug it in. If not...try googling for the maker (Microsoft in this case...which may be at www.microsoft.com if I'm not mistaken) website and looking around for the software to run it. They usually put that stuff up on their websites.
