Hey, i've been going throught the tutorial/help files for this program, and it's kinda overwhelming.  Does anyone have a tutorial or some quick and dirty method for rendering track textures?

Also can I input a povray tga file or ASCII file and output a standard grayscale height map using this program?

If you use a solid white texture you will get a grey scale shadow map.

Bing, Bruce!  I could do the same thing with Armadillo for MCM2.  I can't do it with the mxvsatv editor because it turns everything black.  Good thinking though.  And thanks for the tutorial link.

Then how can i use this grey scale shadow map (as a layer?). It would help me. thanks

Fixer

Paste your shadow map as a layer onto your texture and change the layer's properties to multipy then adjust the % to get the shading you want.

Depending on your textures you may need to paint them brighter than you would normally because the shadow map can darken them.  You also may want to blur the shadow map a little.

Has anyone tried to run Track n Trade Pro v4.0 on virtual PC and if so what kind of Mac were you using.  Any specific issues that I need to look at?  Thanks..
