I'm sure he would tell us everything he could, but I would say he can't say anything.

If Jan 16th is the real release date, then they must have already gone gold.  I assume that the track editor probably isn't finished and will be made available as a download.

The above is pure speculation, believe me I have no knowledge of the facts.

I think amazon put Jan 16 th to get peoples coin. Then they'll string them along to the real release date. It seems to me thats consistent with them.
The March release date is probably more accurate. It sucks we have to wait that long, but also good because that means their getting the code dialed in.
MTX Mototrax was a quickie release, and look what kinda quality that game was.

Wait a minute.... Who kidnapped D-dub and stole his identity?  That can't be an awesome looking nat from him. lol

That looks insane bro. :D

iLLo

do you think tracks should be made the same ? i bet the flow ill have to be made different for the new physics :p

Crucify

A simple solution to download b/w is using rapidshare. It can be used by anyone for the initial release of a track then anyone who wants to have a giant library site of all tracks can host it a month later. This will stop the servers from getting jarred in the head from b/w raping.

Rapidshare has good speed and as long as its legal you can upload whatever you want. You can also make a WA folder of your own on RS and have all your tracks, skins, obs located in one spot.

Good to see alot of the old grunts looking forward to this coming out.

My speculation is, Rainbow is doing this to beet Rob and the new Crew to the punch!

Stopped by for the first time in a long time.  This is great news.  What we've wanted for a long time, and I'm sure we'll enjoy it just as we have MCM2.  Even with all it's problems, it's been a great game.  And all the people that contribute to it make it what it has become.  The level of tracks these days is amazing.  I can't wait to see what can be done with MXvsATV. ;)

Well if thats the case, we are getting good news from two competing companys right?  Seems like we have no way to go but up from a position like that!

Metla666

I contacted 2XL a couple weeks back, Wished them luck and asked what they had in mind for a new game, They responded (You just don't see that happen very often) that they were keeping their options open....

Hopefully not slt..an common format would be good for all the diff. prg's.
Just to have the possibility to export it.

Have the TD screw a plan to do a StartGate with MVA ? (I mean TDzone)

DirtTwister

We have to wait and see what we can do.  We don't know anymore about the game then you guys do.  Hopefully we'll get to take a look at it before it releases, but we haven't had any luck getting a copy of a beta or review copy.

Crossed fingers... and thank you in advance.

Jägermeister

I´m not that excited about the game itself but the track editor and its possibilities..
I would like to have bigger maps than 513 and tiles the same size( not like 513/257 on hidef now).
Bigger skycubes to have more detail. And definitely the option to import your own objects.
And damn if that editor crashes as much as armadillo on small grid tracks.. >:(

Only a few things but could make a big difference in finding the motivation to make more tracks.
And thanks a lot to everyone at TD for supporting MCM2 this long.
