Computer truble need help

Hey i got a question for yall ok this started hapnin abought a week ago win a play a video on my pc the collor is all messed up i thought my graphics card was going out so i got a new one and it still does the same thing the only way i can fix it is win i turn my hardware acceleration down a few notches but why whould it just start doing this i have tried to reinstall media player and it still does it not just with windowes media player but with every program i use... my old card was a 5200 geforce 256mb card and i got a 5500 gefource 256mb card now (i know not the best card but) ...they are both AGP

Hook up another monitor to it - just to rule a monitor defect out.

Did you try new drivers or when you installed the new card, did you remove the old drivers first? Very well could be a driver problem.

it's an Nvidia card it comes with a color correction feture built it. just go there and play with it until it come back to normal......... if the new monitor doesn't work

dont know if u have fix ur prob.  i was with the same problm  .try this, open windows M Player and go to :
media player proprietys\performance tab\advanced buton.
now put the settings as u see in this pic, dono if gona work for u but work very good for me, i was seeing my videos with alot red color , and now i see them as i see pics.  Sky is right, geforce have 2 color settings, 1 for pics and all windowns and 1 for videos.

Most computers do that when their users have horrible grammar and spelling.  I don't blame them,  if I was a computer and some stupid kid typed everything in a run on sentence, I would probably break on him too.

Try typing properly and your computer might start working for you.

I was with the same problem on my videos, and yes if u uncheck the video OVERLAY setting  it will fixx the problem, i was just tring to hepl and u come here  just to talk s.h.i.t about my write,
what a dork assole.
My language is not ingles in case u dont know,
i know i cant tipe correct, what i know about inglis its what i learn from mcm2 cumunity .
I CAN type correctly is MY LANGUAGE, i can teach u some if u want, but its not easy.
