lol  name me 3 track of urs that had 1000 + downloads. and then name my tracks that had just over 500  if you will do your research you will find out that i have released like 10 tracks that got an average of 500 - 700 downloads. Now its your turn.

blacklodge m8, on them renders i can see where the jump start and ends thus making the ride less smooth i think (can't say for sure because i haven't raced it.
here's a track i was making before i quit mcm2.

As u can see it has nearly no visable jump edges. and take a look at the berms to   they are less steep, which i think would work perfect for your track.

your doing great m8 keep on tweaking.

damn metal thats tight, but yeah twisted was telling me about that smoothing them out. and houston seems to ride fine but i know what your talking about, im not going to tweak houston anymore. but vegas is pretty smooth that one will be one of my top ones cause ive benn tweaking that for a grip now imo.

two_four this isn't a download contest as far as i know, if you don't have useful tips on how to improve the track then why say anything. Your comments don't help Blacklodge1 improve his track and this site is about building better tracks.

I think that track looks really good lodge, cant wait to ride it. D dub did a really nice job on the textures too.

zip it bitch ur tracks lick, none of them ride like the real ones

Not everyone who reads this thread has read the threads at factory so if you make a point over there you can't expect everyone here to know about it, so you might want to repeat the post here or link to Factory so we can see what your comments are.

and finally keep in mind that, just because you don't like things about a track doesn't mean the creator has to change it, they still have the right to make it how they want it. :)

ive found that twofour is very picky with what tracks he likes/ doesnt like. he is an ass, and since he hasnt released a track forever, i think he should keep his mouth shut when it comes to the bad things he says. if you really want to show him up 24, then make a better track than his. or give him ideas on how to make them better, not just "noooooooooooo good" as quoted from factory...

actually i have been working on vancouver for the last 5 months nd yes it iwll be 90% perfect unlike some ppls tracks who SHOULD spend more time on them

you just need to calm down.  People release their tracks when they are happy with them whether they are perfect or not.  Not everyone has the skill level of a pro yet, everyone is learning.  If you want them to spend more time on their tracks and produce better tracks, than tell them that and give them constructive critisism on how to do that.  Bad mouthing someones track does not make them want to try harder, but some good critism does.  From personal experience, im no pro at all, but my work has gotten a lot better over time due to a lot of helpful people teaching me and telling me how to do things and how to make things better.  If i started making tracks and someone was bad mouthing them, i would have quit.  I am looking forward to your track, but why settle for 90% perfect?

This is just me, but everything I have released onto the internet for several games since 1997 I only released a project if I was happy with everything on the project. If I wasn't 99% happy with a project I would never release it to the public and just keep it to myself, both US OPEN SX 01 and Twisted SX Night were rushed and finished early in the morning for contest deadlines leaving them 99% finished. I dont think anyone can be 100% happy with a track as theres always limitations to certain things, where always learning new things which is what makes it fun and challenging. If everything was easy it would be boring and we wouldn't have the motivation to continue on improving.

Here's the last track I made for Monster Truck Madness 2 back in 2000, you cant see the elevation changes properly on this pic which I never took but I based several uphill and downhill sections on Glen Helen and added a uphill triple like Red Bud. MTM1 and 2 was so slow making track textures for as you had to make them in 64x64 pixel textures and place them on tiles around the track to make the visual path. Laptimes on this track were over 4 minutes in MTM2.

Here's some of my history since 1997 in track building.
