well i got a new graphics card in today Raedon 9550 and everything runs awesome, only thing i noticed is when i was trying to watch a mx vid in windows media player it would play but it was like green and red? like it was distorted?

Fixer

Sounds like you don't have the right codec for the video you are trying to view. Have you got the latest windows media player? In the options menu you can check for updated codecs.

metal_miracle

try a software that is called

video codec lan or video lan codec..  anyway that got most of the codecs use built-in

then you dont have to use Media player

PRO_Westy

linky for VLC that MM mentioned..

VIDEOLAN

It does sound like a codec problem with media player that you have mentioned,, VLC should run it flawless is totally free no registration no nag screens etc,,, if VLC plays it 100% then we can maybe help you find the codec for WMP that you are missing so you can have a choice :)
