Need help with StartGate.exe

When I open the programm, I get a window, were I am asked for : "Server adress", "Player name" and "Password".
But the Server adress field is empty, what do I fill in there ?

I think it is 'twisteddirt.com/zone/index.php'

Now I get this, when I want to join a Lobby:

It MIGHT just be that you can't join that person's gameroom, I've received that error before also.

but it's also vice verca, he can't join mine either.

and MSN GAMING ZONE is down

Do a IP game then... some peeps used to do it on the zone, give the IP to people who wanted to race if they had problems with zone to mcm2...

That IP address is a local network address not your Intenet address. This means you need to check the IP Prompt check box at login, then you will be asked for your IP address. The local IP is only valid on your local network so no one else will be able to find you on the internet if you use that one, what you need to do is use the IP address your ISP has given you. You can usually find this out by going to 'Run|Cmd' then typing in IP config. The address you want is the one that doesn't start 192.168.xx.xx

hey sloot i found that problem before, wen u log into the td zone u have to leave that internet page up. Once i closed it and i was talking to my slef for about 10 minutes before i realised that the browser needs to stay up

Your browser shouldn't need to be open, only Startgate needs to be open. It's an IP address problem i think.

I forwarded all my ports for my Linksys BEFW11S4....but i am still getting Server Error [404]. Is there an error key or could someone tell me what the means or what im doing wrong?
