problem installing MCM2 again

i suppose there is more life to the game for me still.... so im back, been a few months..

but i lost my CD when i moved, and i got a copy that i DLed from graphite bull, and a bunch of other people have downloaded it, and havent had a problem.... well, i got it, un rarred it into a folder, and ran in install.... it installs just fine, i put in the noCD patch thing, and run it, starts up fine, but when it gets to the "watch out crap, do real riding in safe places screen" it crashes to desktop and i click back on the icon on my start menue where its minimized, it goes into the game but its all fuzzy with a black screen and red lines n *#*#*, and then it totally crashes and says that the " mcm2.exe encounterd an error " i dunno what to do, i reinstalled 3 times so far.....

its on E:\mcm2

and i have it installed on another HDD, but i dont think that would cause the problem..... and it wont run from that, its a spare HDD

and dont tell me to buy that *#*#*, cuz i already did once before....  any suggestions? anyone? got another source where i can get it?

you prolly have a bad file,, if u downloaded n e thing and added it to mcm2 take it out, then try

You might be able to download bittorrent and find a torrent website with mcm2 on it.

hmm, maybe ill dl it again or something, but all i got is the no cd crack, i thought it was that, but i got it off of mauis site and someone else, and no luck....

also, i redownloaded, reinstalled on the E and C drives, and NO LUCK, im so damn bummmed out right now

Well i had to reinstall my MCM2 off of a download as my mom stepped on my cd, well when i downloaded it, it would not play , so i double clicked the "Registration Entries" and it asked me if wanted to had the information to the registry, i clicked yes and it worked perfectly. Try that if you hav'nt yet.

Hmm thats the CD itself... doesnt that install.exe work? and the game itself should be in the 'game' dir, look in there for the regisrty keys...

the track editor works, and i can ride around in it...


and whats that INDEO CODEC crap? i tried getting a version of that, and it said i had a newer one....

but ill install again and look for the reg files

it was one of those asshole indeo codec things, i deleted the old one and reinstalled.... and so it works, thanks ne ways!
