It would be me, VMX_GravityX2, apparently my old email I had for my username doesn't work anymore so I couldn't retreive my password. :-\
Anyways, just seeing if anyone is still messing around with projects for fun? I wish I could, but, I'm a Mac guy now so I can't create anything sadly. >:( Hope all is well with everyone. Send me a line sometime. I'm on Facebook as well!

theres heaps of people using macs with mx simulator. maybe you should check that out, www.mxsimulator.com
im creating tracks for mx vs atv reflex and mx sim at the moment. im not shure if you would be able to get reflex working on a mac, but its worth a shot! also im shure your aware that photoshop and 3ds are available for mac too.

Yes, I'm well aware of what is available for Mac's, I went to school for graphic design! ;)
I've seen MXS, and I don't care for the look. Doesn't seem realistic enough so I don't plan to even try it. If it's possible to play Reflex on a Mac I would get it and start creating again. But, if not, I will have to live through everyones creations and hope to see some videos!

Great to see more guys from MCM2 coming back and checking out the site.  There was so much creative talent back in those days.. The community was really spolit!  Welcome back Gravity.  Unfortunately I don't think Reflex is available for Mac OS, so you should probably trade in that Mac and get back to the glory of a Windows system :) lol

There aren't many track creators around at the moment when you compare it to MCM2, most people are creating content for MXS, but obviously that game's not everyones cup of tea...

i created a track recently on my mac for mcm2. you can either use bootcamp and run windows through that or use parellels and load windows that way, i used parallels, worked fine on my macbook pro. i loaded windows xp and all my old programs (including 3dstudio max 3.1) worked fine.

btw i didnt go to school for graphic design, im just a union commercial plumber and i figured that out smart guy ;) just messin with ya.

Haha Bryan! ;D
I remember looking up a way to use Explorer on it last year because I needed to use it to check my stuff online for work but it never worked. Since then, my Macbook Pro crapped out so it's junk.  I'm waiting to purchase an iMac. Is it easy to run Windows on it so I'm able to create again?

I also thought about just buying an extra computer that's Windows so I can play. Hahaha.

I disagree on MX Simulator not looking realistic.  The user created stuff is really good

It could use a little work on functionality.  I know JLV is/was working on terrain shaders, but I would like to see better terrain deformation.  The erode command works but it doesn't seem as good as what reflex had in that respect.

the video does make the game look pretty good .... why is there so much roost off the front tire?

Who here remembers me? AKA +_XxMxRacerxX_:)  Been ages!    Actually surprised my user name and password still worked here, and that I remembered it!!!
