Just thought I'd give my advice on bike setup for beginners, as I'm one myself! :)

I find that setting Stability to 50, then in Advanced Stability, set Levelling to about 95.  This will give you fairly decent handling, and the bike will tilt upright when you let go of the steering.

The way that MXS requires you to lean the bike upright yourself is just so counter intuitive to me, and goes against all convention when it comes to racing games.  Hopefully this setup will let you play the game in the way you're used to, so you can learn the ropes.  The biggest things I had to over come whilst learning the game, was remembering to sit/stand in the right places, using the front and rear brake, and also hitting jumps properly so that you don't front flip.

I am going to re-install the newest version of this game... any new advice for beginners?

I bought MXsim on April 11, 2010 & played for a few months...

I'm currently waiting for a new DL link because the original has "expired".

Anyway, I like how Jamie approached this because I just crashed over & over in sim mode.
