I'm finishing up a track   ;)

And looking thru the different scene settings.  I'd like to play around with some of these, but find myself lacking on experimentation time, and I don't want to screw stuff up.

I'm wondering what changing some of the variables does to the track...

ie ambient color - if I go up on the color scale, does that make the track brighter?

Thoughts on fog color?

Mud amount value you guys like?

Eco diffuse and ambient scale?

Etc etc - any discussion on the little tweaks availabe in UE2's scene tab would be appriciated...

Ambient color. That is the "tint" you give to the whole scene. If you set it to a redish color, You'll make it look like a sunset theme for example.

Mud Amount. Well, Kind of useless. Most people use the no mud fix anyways. As no-one likes the grey mud on the rider.

ECO diffuse and ambient scale. That I have no clue about.
