I know the reason I can't go lower than a 2.2 grid is because my computer can't handle it.  But what exactly is needed to fix this?  Do I need a new gfx card?

Geforce fx 5200 128mb.  Im wanting to get down to a 1.5 grid res.  I know fixer or Mike Mccue made some hi res track at 1.6 way back when.

i have 2 track with very small grid (not upload yet), if dont work, i try 2 or 3 times it will work in armadillo and once i can do the 1º save , dont crash more, usualy i do this to open the map for the 1º time:
•open armadillo and chose the heigh, them the grid and them 0 for the last box(if u want 0) , and just now open the dispmap, with this sequence usualy work all times.
When i change this sequence the armadillo usualy crash, and i have to start again.
OOH and I dont know why but if i just open the map 1 time , it usualy crash, so i open all times 2X, then go to the save part , this work good to me.

other think is in hi def tracks sx the grid is around 1, i have notice that with 1,3 the track allways crash before i can go to the save buton.(i think is 1.3, if not, is 1.2 or 1.4 that never work, dont remenber very well.

Sky, i think u are talking about armadillo crash before u can save    ?

you're talking about a hi def track right?
I can't get lower than 2.5 for stunt map, and 1.0 grid for a nat.
