I haven't played this series, but from what I've seen can you imagine it being a dirt bike game? would be so insane!

Hi Everyone,

Not sure everyone here would have heard the news but we lost one of Mcm greats recently.

I'm sure he has touched most of the OG's here and done so much for the community, it seems Scottie really found himself within the moto gaming community, and was an honor to have known him.

Ride In Peace mate

Darkslides,

I messaged the comments on youtube but maybe here is a better way to contact. Is that video current with the newest update of MX vs ATV? Seems to work a little different for me.

When I extract the .tga file instead of getting just the one file i am getting a few other folders and also getting a normal map and another type..? none of this shows up in your video. You seem to only get the file you want to edit.

I haven't been able to get my new .pak to run in the game it just locks up. :(

Hey guys,

Any interest in trying to decode an AES encryption on the Mx vs Atv UE4 .pak files?

Any idea if it's possible to create custom content for this game? I really feel this title has a great engine and playability. Anyway thought I'd ask here first at the smartest place possible.

Darkslides seems to have the hot tip when it comes to doing this.

OK, seems this had already happened, but having trouble getting skins to work. Att: Darkslides. heeellp lol

Would be amazing to crack open MxVsAtv All Out and be able to create a community of tracks and skins again.

There have been subtle hints by the devs that it could be doable. Does anyone have any plans to have a crack at it?

If it's possible I plan on developing out a community site to host everything, I own the domain 'TheMotoEmpire.com', for old times sake it's been waiting for the right game to bring back "The Empire"

:)

not sure why that is, if you post or link a new one, I can change it for you

lol Fixer, I believe he means on 'TheMotoEmpire.com'.

Yea one of the many things on the list of todos. Currently working on Email service so notifications and welcome emails work fluently.

General Discussion / http://themotoempire.com/ Launched!

Hey guys,

Just thought i'd spread the word here, I recently launched in the last few weeks http://themotoempire.com/.. It's a Moto game content site!

I've spent many years wanting to do this and finally got back enough into web design in the past year or two to catch up on the technologies and build some cool stuff. Little did i know when i started building a business web app last year that how much the web has changed. i originally started building the same old way, html and php on page load to pull in data. Incredibly it's much cooler to drop the php and do it using Jquery and AJax calls, so i dropped the php site and started doing it with jquery and ajax to call php files on the fly. After learning even more i realized this was still older technology and started learning about having a great fluent developer environment on the desktop using Yeoman, Grunt and other task runners to build sites fast and more efficient. Wow, what a learning curve!! So i continued to learn and figured AngularJs is a great well supported framework i should learn. Now in order to learn it i took online classes and built this Moto Site in preparation to building my business app again from scratch. I'm pretty happy with it, like i said it's built using AngularJs, Firebase DB, and Mediafire Javascript SDK.

Firebase is unbelievable, The coolest part about this whole site is everything is completely live synced with the DB, any changes that happen in the DB whether it's a new review, user, download, or visitor it's all directly reflected into the front end. Truly bad ass technology and will be awesome to watch as the site gets more users.

Check it out, let me know what you think, constructive or not! plan on building it into the main hub for Moto Game Content. I use a paid Pro Mediafire account to host the data as it's easily the most competitive and actually allow you to tap into the Api and built sites like this into it, A lot of other hosting prohibit it.

Thanks guys for taking the time to reply.

I was able to get it to work by setting certain values in a haxxor way and it seems to work in game, took me a while going back and forth but it seems to be in order now.

Cheers Ryann,

Hey Everyone,

I recently re-installed steam and reflex on my new x99 system i have now and started pumping some unleashed and reflex, loving it..! being so used to mxsimulator where i mapped the controls i really want to flip the sticks on my xbox controller so the steering is on the right stick, and reflex on the left.

I believe this was easy on the actual xbox version, but here on the PC it seems impossible as it maps all directions of the stick to one name, So when u try and map each direction you can't because you already have that control mapped. It's super frustrating.

Any tips or hacks to make this work? i got the steering to change but due to the *#*#*ty nature of the mapping window i can't get the reflex stick working on the left.

Hey guys,

Looks like PiBoSo and crew are gearing up to release the first iteration here in September, he hasnt given a specific date but has been dropping some decent hints implying Sept. in the month.

To me personally its looking very promising. he is releasing tools to get real time data from the bike during riding, and other software for track building etc. heres the latest screen shot posted some weeks back. really impressed with rider position and overall look. With creators content aswell it could really take off..
